GREAT AGAIN #2 (lincoln memorial with wiener dogs) 2024

Oil & Cat Hair on Canvas (18” x 36”)

Not wanting to squander a day that’s providing a few rare rays of sun, the pandemonium of wiener dogs thunder across the grass. As they look for butterflies and rabbits to chase, the matriarch keeps watch as far away from the old stone structure as her duty permits.

Though she finds the edifice quite eerie, her elders assure her that it was built in honor of a good soul. And of him, they can only add that he “stood tall on his hind legs, and that he did not care for live theater”.

The promised structure is in the painting, but you might have to look for it. Sorry, it was breathtaking but the cherry blossoms were more popular with my early critics.
