After what seems like eons of hiding from the world, the last living dodo is saddened by your arrival, so disconsolate at your intrusion into his abandoned hospital sanctuary. As he resigns himself to the disdainful yet necessary crimson work that lies once again before him, (already) a tear of weariness and repentance begins its journey down a too often blood stained beak. (Leaving the lights on was a poor choice, he thinks, then slowly approaches you across the grass in his most non threatening gait.)
